The Birthmark by Nathaniel Hawthorne

In the short fiction The alliance Mark, the two major(ip) ele handsts that awayline this story is parable and symbolism. Throughout Hawthornes manner, he has used allegory as a major subject field through various kit and boodle and has come up with opposite styles of allegory. A continuous newspaper Hawthorn uses is the role of women in society. Allegory raise be seen through Aylmer who represents the intelligence of man, the ethos, which is the moxie of society and comes from intellect. The most feminist relationship in the story is in the midst of Georgiana and her husband Aylmer. Taylor comments on Hawthorns ability to write a clear message that in the story Alymer beholds the source of contradict (13). Many a hopeless swain would ca-ca risked life for the privilege of pressing his lips to the unavowed hand (Hawthorne 1022). Taylor implies that Georgiana understands that the nevus is accepting, which begins Alymers infantile fixation and her only flaw (31). One of the biggest flaws surrounded by the relationship of men and women in general is the misconception that men have on women, which is simply, perfection. An example of this can be the image men have for women housewives post WWII.\nTaylor points out that Aylmer is still not quick-witted even though he is near perfect, and wants to ignore everything shut the birth correspond (31).
